But I am tired out! Whew... This volunteering stuff is hard work!!! :-) (but oh so rewarding!) We each had our 8 babies today (with a lunch break.) And then we set the table for dinner and also did the dishes after dinner... So it's about 7pm by the time you can call it a day. And then we go up and get Samuel - usually for an hour or so before his bedtime.
Today, we had one woman from Michigan fly in for her judge visit tomorrow... and we still have the couple of the Netherlands, who are picking up their son (they leave on Wednesday.) Molly left today and Joyce/Susan will leave tomorrow.
Tanya and I both brought Christmas gifts for the nannies, so we are going to use some of tomorrow night putting everything together for them. That should be fun.... I am finally getting over my fear of walking into the baby rooms to get the kids! (You kinda have to be able to that when volunteering!) :-) You just ask for them by name (as we don't really know them yet) and the nannies help you locate their whereabouts (in a crib, hanging on another kid, etc...) And then they will change their diaper before you head up on the balcony.
So... Court news? NADA. :-(
Stephanie said that Wadson stopped by to pick up the files and they told him "Wednesday." Sigh... so more waiting and wondering. But at least it wasn't bad news... still HOPE we are one of the 7.
Love to all of you! Please keep commenting. We get those throughout the day and read them when the red light flashes on my Blackberry! :-)

So many great pictures of Samuel! I see I might need to help you guys pack some Orange and Black clothes next time instead of that more quacky outfit! =)
ReplyDeleteI wish Ross and I could fly down and help out for the break. Babies and sunshine sound like a great way to spend Christmas. What you guys are doing for those kids is amazing!
If I don't comment before, Merry Christmas!
