Finally got through the list of "to-do's"... There was a lot more than I thought, so I was very glad to have some time to get it together today! As you can see from the picture, the cats have no idea what is going on (though I suspect they aren't getting a warm & fuzzy feeling about all the commotion.)
Somehow I managed to stuff in all of the donation items. I used every crack and corner of the suitcases and am giving the zippers a max work-out; hopefully the good old Swiss Army bags will come through!
Joe will get home pretty soon and then we have an shuttle taking us to airport. We will fly to LAX and then take a red-eye to Miami tonight. So the adventure soon begins! I will probably update with pics often, so keep checking back if interested. We should land in Port-au-Prince tomorrow around 12 noon Haiti time (they are 3 hours ahead of PST right now.)
This morning I checked Heidi's blog and she had some pictures posted of our little ones from yesterday! I just can't wait to get my arms around Samuel!
