Wow, Looks like the storm we were in yesterday, wind was 40 mph with gusts up 50mph, felt like somebody hooked onto the trailer and was pulling us down the hiway. And...another storm is on its way, I am sure glad we have several days of warm sunshine in between the storms. Anyone watching the Beavs game saw some of that brutal wind. Almost makes one want the cold and snow of Central Oregon?????
I sure hope the village is OK and no one was hurt or anything. I know here, there were a couple of 20 car pileups on the freeway and several people were killed. ick
Oh my goodness, that's scary. I was just reading online that an American Airways flight skidded off the runway in Jamaica...probably due to the same storm. Sheesh, now you will probably have to spend time cleaning up that balcony instead of playing with the kiddos. That sucks. Glad everyone is ok though. Heidi
Joe and Jill- just had time to read the blog... I absolutely cannot imagine your anxiety and excitement and joy and more and more... I admit I had to "cheat" by scrolling ahead to the top entry to find out if you had received your file yet. I am on the edge of my seat here and am sending you (and the Haitian court system) my thoughts and best wishes. That child gets more gorgeous every day and he is so lucky to have you there. Enjoy every moment, and I hope you get to bring him home with you... Love, Rory
