We started out by bagging the rest of the rice, beans and sugar for the Christmas gifts... that took us about 2 hours. So then we headed up to the balcony and put it back together to get ready for some kid action. So we played with kids for 2 hours and then headed down for some much needed lunch!
After lunch we frosted cookies, which was a lot of fun... Got me in the Christmas spirit a bit, as we listened to Christmas tunes in the background...
Just about the time we were to head back up and get some more babies to play with... Dixie came from out of nowhere and asked us if we wanted to go up to Fort Jacques... we were all excited about it - what a treat! AND... she said we could "bring the boys" with us. Stephanie was quite shocked and told us we better feel very thankful for that one as she normally doesn't let the kids out... So... 4 little babies came along for the ride! This... I consider to be my awesome Christmas gift. :-)
So... now it is time to head up to the Trimble's for our candlelight service and dinner... We are all cleaned up and ready to hit the road. I will try to blog when we return - just depends on how late we go.
Merry Christmas to all of you! While this is a "different" Christmas for us - this is a gift to treasure always...
We love you all - and hope your Christmas is full of blessings!

After all of the upset of yesterday, it seems like everything is settled down and your Christmas Eve was a very special one. Have a wonderful Christmas, we love you. Dad and Mom
